Suffolk's Second Elementary Mathematics Tournament

Designed for elementary students, grades 4 to 6, this competition comes from
MOEMS (Mathmatics Olympiad for Elementary and Middle School Students)
It was offered by the Nassau County Math Teachers' Association for many years
during which Suffolk schools were invited to participate. Three years ago,
the Nassau location was bursting at the seams so Nassau teachers decided to
limit participation to only Nassau schools.
Two Suffolk elementary teachers found the event so rewarding that they
decided to volunteer their time to bring it to Suffolk. They are holding this
third year event at SUNY Stony Brook in May of 2010. They have put in a great
deal of time to make sure this event is a success.
There is a fee of $60 per team of 5 (lunch not included).
