New Market scored with one out in the 5th inning, breaking Bill Dunker's scoreless inning streak at 25 1/3 innings. This is his third scoreless streak of 20 innings or more in as many years, his top being 37 2/3 innings in 2004.

Josh Simon's 6 for 6 effort was the one of the best performances in recent memory. The last closest guy to that feat was Cyril Simon on 5-5-95 when he was 5 for five.
