BASIC INFO: 150 adoption-specific phrases to use with your child,
including terms of reassurance and positive reinforcement; 47-minute,
professionally recorded language CD and 67-page handbook (easy-to-read and
pronounce phonetic spellings + tons of pointers: for waiting, what to
expect, early days together, travel, and enhancing bonding). Since September
2003 a free CD-ROM of learning games comes with the Russian language set (to

In order to meet the needs of adoptive parents, I keep improving my
adoption-specific language guides. :-) I added a new component of
the _Adopting From Russia_ language set last fall: Phrases to Use in
Court. The set just keeps improving and the price stays the same! Last
year I added illustrated, bilingual flashcards to complement the CD and
handbook. Parents love them; they help you learn Russian even faster and
parents who want to read Cyrillic have a handy and user-friendly set of
flashcards to study with and refer to. They are another great addition
to my adoption-specific language sets, which I consider 'works in
progress' to help adoptive families get to know each other better/faster,
and to communicate with one another from the very beginning. You'll
think they're neat! :-)
