This year's event will be held at Warhill High School in Williamsburg on April 15, 2010. Make sure to plan for the cost of this dinner as it is a legitimate PTA expense. This is your opportunity to vote on the leadership for your district for the next two years. **for more info, check out the March 09 newsletter under 2009 ANNUAL DINNER WAS A HUGH SUCCESS. OVER 170 PEOPLE REGISTERED TO ATTEND. *To see pics of that evening, clock on Photo Gallery!* We awarded some special awards. The Virginia PTA President's Honor Award to Dr. Patrick Russo who leaves our District to work as Superintendent for Henrico County, Virginia. The National PTA Lifetime Achievement Award to Jannie Bazemore, Essay Chair, for her dedication as a Peninsula District board member. An Engraved Journal to Pam Henifin for her work as Reflections Chair, Pam is leaving the board but will stay on to help our new Reflections Chair.
