information about South Carolina schools. It is useful for parents and 
educators. You will find the South Carolina Academic Learning Standards for 
each grade and subject area at this site.

Division of Educator Quality and Leadership - This site is useful for 
educators who need to access information regarding certification 
requirements and status. It contains information on ADEPT and contract 
levels. Information about the "highly qualified" status as defined by "No 
Child Left Behind" is available at this site, too.

South Carolina Readiness Assessment Profile Initiative - SCRAPI - This site 
is for kindergarten and first grade teachers to utilize as they mark the 
indicators for the SCRA. Teachers must have a passcode to enter data. Each 
year, teachers must click "Create New Account" before access is permitted. 
The teachers' markings will be compiled in a report to parents the following 
fall.

Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale - The ECERS is the rating scale on 
which primary schools in SC are scored. This site contains information on 
the ECERS and is primarily useful for educators.

Measures of Academic Progress - MAP is the computer-adaptive assessment that 
is utilized in Spartanburg District Four. This online assessment was 
developed by the Northwest Evaluation Association. Information regarding MAP

management program created by Dr. Becky Bailey. This program is particularly
