| The Historic Foodways Society of the Delaware Valley (HFSDV) began in October of 1994, when thirty
men and women came together to preserve the rich foodways culture of the Delaware Valley. Since
that first meeting, our membership has continued to grow.
We are fortunate to live in a region that is culturally diverse and historically endowed. The Society
provides its members with informational programs four times a year, a quarterly newsletter, and an
opportunity for people who are interested in culinary culture to gather and learn from experts and
from each other.
