Update from July 2008:
Because of our successful fundraising efforts during the 2007-2008 school
year, this summer we were able to complete Phase II of project playground
with the installation of a new climbing apparatus in the Elementary School
play area. This new item replaced the old firetruck climbing structure that
used to be located there. It was another hot day, but we got it done thanks
to the assistance of many dedicated volunteers who made it happen.
Update from August 2006:
The revilatization of our playground continued this summer with the
installation of several new benches on the playground along with new maps of
the United States and New Jersey, hopscotch and four squares games, and
baseketball foul lines being stenciled on the blacktop play area in the lower
parking area. Thank you to everyone who donated their time to assist in this
current phase of our project.
Update from August 2005:
New playground equipment for both the elementary and middle school
playgrounds were purchased and erected through the efforts generous donations
raised during the course of the 2004-2005 school year and the volunteer
efforts of all those who assisted in the planning and installation of this
equipment on the hottest day of the year!
Update from July 2004:
During the summer of 2004, four new basketball hoops were installed in both
the lower and upper parking areas.
