Help Wanted

How you can help the Holland Township PTO?

The PTO encourages active participation by our members and there are many
ways you can get involved.

Being a part of the PTO doesn't have to mean a big commitment of time. You'd
be surprised at how many ways that you can help out. It can be by attending
PTO meetings, volunteering for an upcoming project, event or committee or as
simple as cutting and sending in box top labels.

Many are a one-time needs like baking for the hospitality committee,
volunteering to help make reminder phone calls for Market Day or helping out
one night at a sale.

can get help out our school.

Everyone's help makes a difference whether your contribution is big or
small!

BOOK FAIR

Help plan and coordinate the Fall and/or Spring Book Fair. Areas of service
include display set-up, promotion, assisting with orders, helping children
with their book selections and purchases and the delivery of orders. May
assist with the planning of the Book Fair Family Night.

BOX TOPS/CAMPBELLS LABELS

Coordinate and process Box Tops and Labels for Education that families send
in to school that they have cut from many products throughout the school
year. This committee also helps select items to be purchased for the school.

BULLETIN BOARD

Put your artistic flair to good use by helping keep the PTO Bulletin Board
updated with displays throughout the school year to advertise and promote PTO
events and fundraisers.

FAMILY NIGHTS

Work to come up with activities for students and their families to enjoy.
Past activities have included roller skating and kickball nights as well as
the Haunted Gym in October.

FUNDRAISING

Help select companies that offer popular items to run fundraising programs
in which the proceeds benefit the students and our school. A variety of
programs are run throughout the year including the Annual Fall Fundraiser
and Spring Fundraiser. A variety of duties will be involved depending on the
fundraiser, so there are many opportunities to help.

HOSPITALITY

Be on call to bring baked goods and/or drinks to the school when needed for
PTO functions and events.

MARKET DAY

Assistance is needed to help organize this monthly program that provides
name brand food at competitive prices for which the PTO earns a percentage
of each sale night. Volunteers are needed one night per month to assist on
sale nights with order sorting and distribution at the school.

TEACHER APPRECIATION

Volunteers needed to help coordinate appreciative events for teachers and
staff throughout the year including Teacher Appreciation week in May.

SPIRIT COMMITTEE

If you have ideas on how to promote school spirit within our school, this is
the committee for you.  This committee raises money at sporting events,
concerts and family nights to be set aside for use by the school sports
teams, music groups and the band to assist with uniforms, trips and buses
during the course of the school year.
