The Waccamaw Academy Parent-Teacher Association is a group of 
parents, teachers, students, and volunteers who help with school projects 
and fundraisers.  The PTA organizes and host many events and fundraisers 
during the school year as well as summer projects.  The PTA is in charge of 
the Sally Foster Wrapping Fundraiser, the Annual Halloween Carnival, 
Domino's Pizza Card Drive, Spring Scholastic Book Fair, Teacher's 
Appreciation Week and Fall & Spring Tee-Shirt sales.  The PTA host several 
ongoing fundraisers such as General Mills Boxtop Labels, Foodlion Shop & 
Share,and Office Depot School Rewards program. 

All the money raised by the PTA is used for teacher and student services. 
The PTA has purchased several new computers for the school, books for the 
Library, the school mascot uniform, as well as books and supplies for 
teachers 
and students.

The PTA welcomes all voluteers.  Please send an email if you are interested
