40 Year Celebration is in the works. If you have any alumni's addresses or email addresses
please email them to us or go to the school's website and register them on the alumni email
network. Anyone interested in helping with this event please email the PTA.

"Pennies for Playground" Project has started. We will be collecting pennies (all coins welcome)
to
raise much needed funds for playground & PE equipment. Each class (PreK-8 grade) will have clear
jars in their classroom. Throughout the next couple of months we will chart each classrooms
progress. In December, the classroom with the MOST MONEY will receive a prize.

Waccamaw Academy has enrolled in the DIRECTV4Schools™ fundraising program for the 2008-2009
school year. Through DIRECTV4Schools™, our school will receive a cash contribution for every
new, existing or returning DIRECTV customer who commits to a year of DIRECTV satellite
television service using our school code.

today. Our school will receive $100 for each new customer who orders and activates DIRECTV
service and $50 for existing or returning customers who extend their current commitment to
