1. Volunteer Hours
(If you sign in when you volunteer, please note
that you are volunteering in the name of Alpha Delta Kappa.)
What about volunteering?
It does not have to be at a school.

Visits to nursing homes

Schools and school libraries

Churches and home-bound members

Advocate for Special Ed. students/abused children

Helping in community library or museum

Crime/Community Watch Patrol

Driving for and shopping for the handicapped or
shut-ins

Part-time teaching and tutoring

Shopping for Angel trees or Empty Stocking Fund at
Christmas
2. Monetary Gifts to Worthy Causes
could be money given in the name of
Alpha Delta Kappa (such as the money we gave when the tornado hit Sanford,
etc.)
3. Value of Nonmonetary Gifts
would be the value of the toiletries given to Friend to Friend or food
purchased for Backpack Kids, etc. Alpha Delta Kappa is a nonprofit
organization so if you purchase items for programs, door prizes, speaker
gifts, decorations, favors, stamps, greeting cards, etc. and do not ask to be
reimbursed, then these expenses could be listed here.
4. Money given for Scholarships
can include “Joy Dollars” and donations to other Ways and Means Projects such
as raffles, auction, Country Store, etc.)
