Sally Foster Wrapping paper: Each fall, to help with the HCA budget the
school participates in a Sally Foster Wrapping Paper sale. This is gorgeous
strong wrapping paper for the holidays and other occasions. They also have
great gifts. Orders can be made on line if you wish.
Fall Tree Skirt Auction: Each fall we have an auction of our tree skirts.
This year our auction will take place on line and silently in person. The
lower school students in each classroom make the tree skirts. Volunteers
are needed to help make these priceless reminders of our children’s
creativity. Proceeds go toward the HCA budget.
Teacher Luncheons: Throughout the year, we have a special luncheon,
breakfast, or snack for our hardworking staff. We try to vary our items and
try to always thank our teachers for all their hard work.
Grandparent’s Day: One of the most cherished events at HCA is our fall
Grandparent’s Day. The Lower School students invite their grandparents or a
special friend to come to HCA. The children do a program, invite their
guests to see their school and classrooms and enjoy a brunch. Volunteers
are always needed to help make this day a success
Spring Fundraiser: During our spring fundraiser an auction will take place
on line and silently at the school. This auction includes lower school
quilts, furniture and special items by our middle and upper students, as
well as donated vacations, sporting tickets, and other special items. Our
lower school students make the quilts, like our tree skirts. These
keepsakes have always been a tradition at HCA! Volunteers and donations are
needed to make this a success.
Teacher Appreciation Week: Each spring we honor our teachers for a week.
This includes a breakfast, notes, small gifts, flowers etc. This is a
special time to remind the teachers how much we appreciate them

Other Events: Parents’ Association is always looking for ways for you to
become involved with HCA. We try new things all the time. Classrooms
always need help and your special talents just might provide a niche that is
waiting to be filled!
