HANG SPIDER Play this game with your friends (a variation of Hangman). Draw a spider web (a group of wiggly lines) at the top of the paper. Write the vowels 'a, e, i, o, u" off to the side. Then draw a line for each letter in the word. As a letter is guessed, write it next to the spider web. Letters in your word are written on the correct line. Letters not in the word add a part to the spider: first a head, then a fat body, then 4 legs on each side, then two eyes and finally a smile. If the spider is finished before the word is guessed, the spider (you) wins! If your friend guesses the word first, he/she wins. (You could tell your friend how many vowels in the word.) PUZZLE WORDS You and a friend each write a word on a piece of paper and then cut the letters apart. Race to see who can put the word together first.
