Camp Blodgett Indoor Event - This weekend, Dec. 5-7 will be the annual indoor event at Camp
Blodgett. This is a fun weekend featuring a turkey dinner prepared by the SPL, merit badge
work, games, etc. Information on the event is posted on the web site. If you have not yet
signed up, please do so at the Troop Meeting on Tuesday or contact Mr. Love, the event
coordinator.

Veterans Home Donations Service Project - Troop 290 is supporting a drive to collect donations
for the Veterans Home. Please see the information posted on the Service Opportunities web site
page. You can download an information sheet that the Scouts should hand out to their neighbors
to collect items for the Veterans Home. There are two sheets per page. They can either print
their own from the website, or we will have some available at the Troop Meeting Tuesday. The
sheets should be distrtibuted by Friday before leaving for Camp Blodget at the latest. Earlier
is better. The donations should be collected on Sunday afternoon, as stated on the sheets and
brought to the Troop Meeting on December 9th. All Scouts are encouraged to participate. Those
participating will recive service hours and possibly a troop activity. Call Danny with questions.
