Troop NewsCommittee/Parents Meetings
All parents are welcome to attend the Committee/Parent Meetings. Upcoming events, new business and items of interest are discussed. These meetings are usually scheduled for the first Tuesday of the month. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 2. Annual Program and Newsletters
If you have not received your familys copy of our annual program or a newsletter with your name and address printed on a label, please write your Scout's name, his parent (s) names, your address and phone number and give to Jim Aaron, Committee Chairman (676-9154). Campout Announcements
Announcements regarding time and place of departure, events, and what to bring are announced at the meetings prior to the campout. Scouts should attend meetings leading up to campouts they will be attending, to assist in preparation/planning and to bond with their fellow scouts. Wreath Sales Volunteer Sheri Scott, Scout parent in charge of our annual Wreath Sale is looking for a parent(s) to shadow her for this fall's sale & then take over for the 2009 season and beyond. Carol Aaron has co-chaired this fundraiser, but she has taken on several other Troop responsibilities. It may sound like a huge job, but it's not; it can actually be fun too. It's helpful to have a knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, but it's easy to learn. You're time involvement spans from October thru December; sporadically not constantly. Please think about it and contact her with any questions. It does work well to have 2 volunteers, so think about it, call another Scout parent and let her know.
