The Women of TBA is our Sisterhood. We are Temple Beth Abraham members, and non-members. We are Jewish by birth, Jewish by choice, and not Jewish. We are single, married, divorced, widowed, gay, straight, mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, and friends. We are executives, students, doctors, at-home moms, lawyers, massage therapists, singers, pharmacists, writers, psychologists, dancers - in other words, our membership reflects the diversity of our community.Back to Top
Do I have to be a TBA member to join The Women of TBA?
No. It is not necessary to formally affiliate with Temple Beth Abraham or any other synagogue. As a member of our The Women of TBA, you will be affiliated to the Women's League of Conservative Judaism and receive their monthly publication.Back to Top
I am the non-Jewish partner of a member - can I join The Women of TBA?
Absolutely. One of the greatest strengths of our community is its desire to be inclusive of all those who wish to participate in our activities and events.Back to Top
I am not sure I want to join The Women of TBA- can I still participate?
Yes. Our activities, events, and services are open to members and non-members alike. We encourage you to attend events that peak your interest and hope that you will come away from them with a desire to join us.Back to Top
How do I become a member of Women of TBA?
Our dues are $36 per year. Make your check payable to WTBA - Sisterhood and mail it to WTBA c/o Flo Raskin 123 Dudley Ave. Piedmont, CA 94612. Once you have joined, you will receive an annual membership letter.Back to Top
