How do I sign up for events?

Clip boards will be available at the Las Ninas meetings. You can also 
find the opportunities in the Las Ninas newsletter, the Las Madrecitas 
newsletter, or this webpage.

How do I cancel a community service commitment?

You must cancel a community service commitment 48 before the event. 
Contact both the contact name and either Mrs. Dale or Mrs. Starodub. 
(See above) If you cannot cancel, you may find a replacement for your 
position. Please let the chairmen know.

How do I cancel an Orthopaedic Hospital commitment?

You must cancel a community service commitment 48 before the event. 
Contact the  Orthopaedic Hospital Volunteer Director, Mrs. Barbara Murray @ 
213-742-1532.

How long do I have to 'pay back' a no-show/penalty hours?

Six weeks. Penalty hours do not count toward the accumulation of total 
hours. See your class adviser for specific instructions.

How many hours can I earn baking?

You will earn 1 hour for every 2 dozen cookies or brownies you bake. You can 
also earn 1 hour for cakes and loaves of bread. Keep an eye out for any 
limits. YOU ARE LIMITED TO 50 HOURS IN YOUR 1ST 200 COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS. 
AFTER 200 COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS, YOU CAN EARN UP TO 25 ADDITIONAL HOURS 
FOR 
BAKING.
