********* Blanket Information (From the Feb 2009 Newsletter) You can make blankets for various hospitals for community service hours. You can make these by a no-sew method, or they can be sewn. This requires two pieces of fleece, 60” x 48” each for no sew, 52” x 40” for sewing. For no sew, 4”x about 1” cuts around the exterior for the tied fringe must be cut, with a 4”x 4” square removed from each corner. You will earn 5 hours for each blanket, as these can be costly and labor intensive. A maximum of 5 blankets may be made for now. Our pillow chair will be collecting these.
