| STARFISH STORY AND *STARFISH* ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENTS
Do you remember the story about the young child, walking along the
beach among thousands of starfish that had washed ashore with the tide?
The child stopped every several yards to throw a starfish back into the
ocean. Another child, a bit older than the first, stopped and asked, "Why
bother? You can't save them all. Do you think it'll really matter?" And
the younger child, tossing another starfish back into the waves replied,
"It will matter to THIS one."

We have available adoption announcements with a starfish theme. The
cards have wording that is appropriate for children of all ages and for
announcing the arrival home of one, two, or three children. The card-stock
announcements come with very nice envelopes so you can include
photos of your child/ren or they can even be mailed economically as post

artist -- a student of mine -- to design the starfish-theme adoption

wonderful way to let friends, colleagues, and business associates know about
your growing family, they're reasonably priced, and ordering them will help
both children in need and those who are waiting to meet their forever

Note: I have donated at least 10% of any profits from the sales of my
language sets to overseas orphanages for the last 5 years. (It's usually
more. :-) To date, I have donated to orphanages in Russia (the
orphanage my son lived at for his first three years, and several others),
Haiti (a medical mission associated with a Mother Teresa orphanage, and two
orphanages for disabled boys), Mexico (one program to supply homeless street
children with basic supplies, another that my daughter and I visited in
March, 2002, and a third one that is a Mother Teresa Home for teenage girls
who have been surviving on the street), Peru (where we lived for a year and
still have friends who put us in touch with an orphanage there), Romania (an
orphanage supported by Little Miracles Adoption), Honduras (through my cousin
who travels there occasionally to visit the orphanage), Guatemala, and
China.
Certainly one of the highlights for me since I have started Tender
Loving Communications has been sending donations to orphanages. It feels
right to help out the kids who may not have the chance to be adopted into a
loving forever family. Adding the *Starfish* Adoption Announcements will
allow me to help adoptive families even more, and to increase the donations I
make to children in need. You'll find that many other adoption announcements
