25th Reunion "Gathering" -- October 12, 2007
A bunch of us are planning to attend the CHS homecoming game (kick-off 7:30 pm) and sit together in the reserved section (if we can figure out how many are attending to let the athletic office know). Starting about half-time, a room will be available at Centennial Country Club for getting re- acquainted. We will have the room until midnight. If you are planning to join us, please email me, so we can plan the food. Cost to attend: $5 for your game ticket(s) -- pay at the gate $10 per person for food at the club -- pay at the door Please pass the word... Thanks! Julie

And thanks to you guys who just had to drive across town, too! Thanks to all of you who had to MAKE YOURSELF come, even though a part of you didn't really want to (yeah, I felt that way, too!) Some of you postponed work stuff, family stuff, etc. to be there, and I just want you to know that we appreciated it! Thanks to EVERYONE who made it so much fun and hopefully had a blast, like I did! (And remember-- be saving your pennies for a class-wide "40th birthday party" in two more summers!) Honestly, this reunion was great because you were there! Love, Julie CHS CLASS OF 1982 REUNION WEEKEND ~ June 21-22, 2002 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Friday, June 21 -- 12:00 noon Golf at Centennial Valley Country Club. For more information, call Pat Raney at 501-470-1531 (home) or email raneypat@yahoo.com Friday, June 21 -- 7:00-11:00 pm A “come and go” gathering at the gazebo on the Centennial Valley Country Club grounds. Light snacks and soft drinks will be provided. A cash bar will be available. Dress will be “summer casual”... meaning we’ll be outside in the heat, so dress for comfort, okay? Saturday, June 22 -- 11:00 am Bring your spouse and kids to a picnic at Lila’s mom’s farm, located east of town. Dennis Forte’s fabulous Hog Pen Restaurant will serve a BBQ dinner with all the fixins’. We invite any cooks in the crowd to WOW us by bringing your favorite easy-serve dessert to share--cookies, brownies, etc... Lunch will be served from 11:00-1:00. Afterwards, your family can hang around for a little while to enjoy swimming, lounging beside the pool, fishing in the pond, or riding the ponies and horses! All activities are at your discretion, and we’ll expect everyone to supervise their own children. (Sorry! We couldn’t find any lifeguards, cowboys, or fishermen willing to watch over the little ones! Oh well...) Be sure to bring your suits, towels and/or fishin’ stuff if you choose to participate. A camera is not a bad idea either! Come and have a great afternoon! Dress will be “super summer casual”... meaning swimsuits, shorts, and tees! I’m including directions below, but call 329-7940 or 258-5786, if you get lost! Saturday, June 22 -- 7:00-12:00 pm Conway Country Club will be the setting for a buffet dinner to be served from 7:00-8:00 pm. At 8:00 pm, we will pose for a group photograph, and at 8:30, our DJ will start the music. (He says to warn everyone that he uses “blinky lights” that can sometimes cause seizures, so if you’re susceptible, please be cautious!) A cash bar will be available from 7:00 -11:30 pm. The dance will end at midnight. Dress will be what we finally decided to call “summer dressy casual.” (Meaning... wear something nice enough to go out to dinner, but be comfortable -- wear something that makes you feel good about yourself. And don’t worry about ties or hose... mercy, don’t you remember how HOT it gets in Conway during the summertime?! Just come and have a great time!) See you there! Love, Julie
